Coatings & Finishes
Hawk Fastener Corporation can provide many different coatings, paints and finishes for all of the fasteners we supply. All of our color matched fasteners are quoted with a Poly5 coating, unless specified otherwise or by customer request for another finish.
Poly5
Back in 1994 Hawk Fastener Corporation realized that painted fasteners were not holding up to the extreme outdoor elements. In working with one of our closest vendors to provide a weather resistant colored finish that would last beyond 5 years we created Poly5. The process created allows parts to be painted with perfect color matches in smaller quantities, but gives the durability of powder coating.

- Smaller quantities can be coated without high volume minimums.
- High UV protector - Eliminates color fading or changing.
- Will not crack, peel or chalk due to extreme outdoor elements.
- Parts in the field since 1995 still look like they were just installed.
- Short lead times on custom colors - usually 1-2 weeks.
Value Paint
Hawk Fastener also carries a line quality painted parts that we call our value painted products. In order to stay competitive with our customers who use standard colors we stock just that. Standard colors that can be used in a variety of products.
Benefits of Value Paint
- Off the shelf painted fasteners - can be shipped same day if before 12:00pm Noon CST.
- Lower cost on painted parts - allows customers to stay competitive when specific color matching is not required.
